When you first launch QFeed you are greeted with the main window. It consists of two lists, as well as a web view. The first list, which you should be focused on by default, will contain any rss feeds which you add to the application. The second list contains entries from the current rss feed. This list will allow you to quickly navigate between feed entries, and give you some information such as the title and author of the entry, when it was published, and if it has been read yet. Pressing tab from the entries list will place you in the summary web view. This contains a summary of the currently-focused entry. When you have finished with the summary you can press f6 to return to the entries list. Press enter on an entry to view it in full. When you have finished reading it, you can dismiss the window with escape.
Portable mode allows you to run QFeed from any folder on your computer: Dropbox, USB storage devices, and more. If you have purchased QFeed, you will be required to perform a one-time product activation on every new computer you use the application on. Your settings and other information will be preserved between portable runs of the application and saved in the folder user_data inside the application's folder.
QFeed has an automatic update feature. It will check for a newer version every time it is started, as well as every 2 hours. To disable the automatic update feature, add --disable-autoupdate to the application command line. Note: this flag does not work with beta versions of QFeed.
